News of the decade!! I am not in the market for yet again a new safety bar design but a new open comb, that is something else! I can't wait till it gets there (and the vendors are through the old stock of the 'new' R41).

Very cool. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on an OC Mühle. I held off when I heard the rumor about the head redesign.

Well, looking at the close up pics it ain't really an open comb is it?

It is an interesting design though, reminds me a little of the Eclipse Red Ring head.

I'd rather hoped they'd make an open comb version of the current head, but then that head's design has proved its worth, so it'll be interesting to see the new OC design.

It has only one difference. Eclipse comb has a bar which is closing the comb at the end of the teeth. In Mühle this part is at the base area, imo. I think new R41 looks like NEW Deluxe with slim teeth design.

That's a little blurry, but VERY interesting!!

If the teeth are on the cap and hang over the blade, that might be the newest innovation in a long time. Reminds me of a Grand Shave King razor.

Looking forward to seeing better pictures soon!!
