Default INquiry on a Merkur blade resource or Merkur 1904 Classic razor

Hello, i am inquiring whether anyone has a resource for Merkur razor blades?
If so, what do the blades go for through that resource?

I have noticed that members have resources for different blades, which is why i am asking for a resource for Merkur blades.

Also, does anyone have a Merkur 1904 Classic - straight bar they'd be willing to sell that is either relatively used or relatively new - there is a difference between the two.

    Greatly appreciated,

    Isaac

By "resource" so you mean "supplier"?

    In UK

but the postage may be prohibitive.

Thanks for the reasource, but i'd prefer somewhere in the USA because of shipping and handling charges.

    Greatly appreciated, Labarum.

Also, who is Charles at QED?
Is it a member or website?

Thank you for the help so far.

Greatly appreciated for the clarification, LetterK.

Also, anyone have a Merkur 1904 classic they'd sell or possibly trade?
I have some gillettes razors i'd be willing to trade -if that is what you'd want.
    I'm trying to locate one.

    Thanks,
    Isaac

Ah, I didn't think this UK supplier did Merkur blades, but he does.

    http://www.suffolkspares.co.uk/merkursuper.html

    International shipping only £1.60 ($3.19)

It appears the prices are approx. $8.69 for a 10 pack vs. $4.50 through the sellers here.

    Thanks, Gentlemen.

It appears that some of the web resources that i've have specifically, vintage classic website has very compettive prices for only $3 shipping for the entire order, where 10 merkur blades are about $4.80.

Thanks, guys, for the Merkur blade information.

however, any info for a used Merkur 1904 classic razor?

I thought that i would try.

    Thanks,
    Isaac

I think you will have better luck starting a thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum. Just post WTB Merkur 1904 and you might find someone willing to part with one. Good luck!

That's the only place I've come across that sells them in quantities above 1 ten pack. Two hundred blades for $75 isn't a bad price for Merkurs.
