Black plastic handle Tech W-2 (1951) in great shape for $7.50 from eBay. Might become my travel razor.

Was very lucky to find this Schick model that has a turnkey spring which helps in cleaning.
Unfortunately the gold finish is for the most part gone.

Now the hard part is trying to find a injector blades locally.
Use to see them all the time in CVS, Walgreens, etc.
Now they are no where to be found!

Never had a DE razor that opened like this bakelite one. No name, no date, no problem. It takes conventional blades and is very attractive, even without a case. Notice the spring loaded hinge on the head.

The head is slanted, but the blade is not twisted.

Very clean, very cool. one piece -- but can it be called TTO?

Looks pretty straight here, but it really isn't. Anyone ever had one of these -- or do you know what it's called?

Its German and it is pre-war (WWII). On the one side it says Made in Germany (which was used before 1948 and after 1990) and on the other "DRP", which means Deutsches Reichspatent. After the war, DRP was not longer used.

Rudy Vey has beter eyesight than I -- he is absolutely correct regarding the printing on the underside of the bakelite German razor I presented on the previous page. Now the maker is still unknown to me. Wonder if Rudy knows the answer to that -- maker, year, model name? Curious design. And seems to be a rare version.

Yeah, I really like the idea of it, but the razor is not sharp at all. Going to see if I can make it usable, but not sure how much luck I'll have. It's a cool piece anyway.

Very nice job in deed. Shaving with warm lather is something i will not be able to do without, since going to a scuttle.

    Default Slim pickings today

Not much exciting happening in Granbury today. But the trip wasn't a complete waste of time because I did happen upon these:

The Avon dispenser is completely full with Everest AS. Im not a fan of most Avon products but this smells nice. The Old Spice mug/soap combo still had plastic cover and is unused. Not much scent left but it should still provide great lather.
