Just putting this out there to see if there is some interest in a wet-shavers get-together in Philadelphia this summer. It would be great if it would include both shavers and local vendors. It would give us all a chance to meet face-to-face and perhaps bring some items and questions. Location, exact date and most other details are yet to be determined and would be dictated by the level of interest. If you are reading this, please get the word out to your fellow shavers/collectors/vendors & wannabes in the Philly Metro area.

You should talk to the Duross and Langel people - they have a great space above their store where they hold soap-making workshops, I'm sure they would be into having a dozen or so motivated guys come in ready to spend some money :)

The last time I spoke with them I asked about a shaving soap - they weren't completely sold on the idea, but if you made it a challenge I bet they would step up and try.
