    Default Glycerine soap question.

I have a bunch of small sample soaps that were "left over" from a sample give away at the gym. These were glycerin olive oil soap. They were specificly(sp?) for facial cleansing. I wanted to know is there anything different with shave soaps or can you use any glycerine soap and melt it in a bowl and use it? Is there something different with the lather or the thinness of the lather? Just wondering before I make a mess in the microwave.

Yes, you can melt these samples and make one grand bar. Just use a lower power on the microwave and do it in short bursts. Be careful not to burn the stinks!
