    Default Plisson HMW #40...

Hmm....SBAD grabbed me at my throat again. Already had a HMW #20 in dark horn, and yes, of course i MUST have one in blond horn.
Here they are, side by side, the twin towers of Classic Wetshaving.

The Plisson horn handled High Mountain White #20 is the brush epitome of classic wetshaving to me. A very classy, top quality, totally handmade shaving instrument made of natural materials: badger and " le pointe corne" of a cow; not pressed in shape, but cut in shape by hand.

Of course the dimensions of this beauty can be too large for many men, but i've no problem with it; sheer the impressive look of it makes that i like to use it rather often, compared to my other brushes.
Knowing i'm shaving with this icon gives me a special feeling.... :D

As an aside: i've been told that Plisson produces only five specimen per year of this brush; then again: it's an understatement to say that this shaving brush is an outrageous decadent luxury item.
    But i can't miss them....

Wow! You must be a happy man, and as decadent as it gets

Do you build lather on face? Seems you would need some serious bowl (if you used one)

    Cheers

Peter, where do you buy your Plissons? I am debating this purchase myself and am encouraged by you words and photos. I really like to twins you have in your rotation.
