Zam! Pow! Bif! Broken tooth!! Dammit!!!

So I've recently fallen in love with the Gillette New Improved open comb, long and short versions. Sadly, though there is one tooth on my long comb that somehow got bent, which I then proceeded to crack (you can see exactly where the crack sits) by trying to bend back. It is to the point now where the metal fatigue is so great that I am afraid that it will fall off anytime. :crying:

Have any of you ever managed to fix this? I was thinking of taking it to a jeweler because buying another one is not so easy in Germany and I know how well *this* one already shaves. But his may be an expensive option.

Have any of you every fixed a broken tooth DIY-style?

The jeweler may be your best choice. First, see what a jeweler will ask for the repair. I imagine the best repair is to solder the fatigue cracks. If you have experience soldering, and the equipment, do it yourself. Otherwise, find someone who does have experience.
