Gillette Fat Boy vs Slim Adjustable ... a Poll!

For those of you who have both of these, I'm curious to know which you prefer and why. Both are very highly rated in the reviews section.

There is not 'other' because I'm not interested in comparing these to other razors in this particular thread. Just a head-to-head between the Fat Boy and the Slim.

Which? And why? Inquiring minds want to know.

Your poll is incomplete. You should have included the Gillette Super Adjustable as well. I think it shaves better than the other two.

If you are going to include the Super Adjustable, you might as well add the Toggle in there too.

I only own a slim so I wont vote because I don't have a Fat Boy to compare it to, but I do like my Slim, a lot.

IMHO Fatboys are the most overrated (and over priced) DE razor. Their hype does not equal to performance.

I voted slim because I get better results with the slim (at least the last time I used it which was a while ago).

Am I right that they only made Fatboys for 3 years (1958-1961)?

The regular fatboy was made from D3 to G4. So 3.5 years

I voted FB! it was my first razor and have been using one for over 35 years and it has served me very very well, I did try a slim amongst many many others Razors, and always reverted back to the FB, I guess it's what works for me.

I prefer the Fatboy in all ways except for shaving. It looks better, feels better, and just oozes engineered masculinity.

I get way better shaves with the Slim though.

+1 - agree completely. I grab the fatboy, but find the blades and shaves ending up with the slim over and over...

I screwed this up and have two of these going, and nobody listens to my pleas to let this die.
