Tolkein's smoke

Does anyone know what brands or blends the old Prof smoked? I'm looking for specifics here dudes.

No body knows for sure (His family might). According to tolkiensociety.org He (may have had) old tins of Navy cut -to store bolts and washers. So maybe he smoked Players Navy cut.
Personally , I prefer to think of him puffing away on an old churchwarden packed with Old Toby.
