Simpsons Colonel Lettering

I've noticed a discrepancy. On some models, I've seen the lettering on the back read this way:

The Colonel

On others, like mine, it reads this way:

"Colonel"

What gives?

I remember reading on another post that the lettering varies based on the worker who happens to be engraving the handles on a given day. If I remember correctly, this was personally verified by Mark.

Wow ... really? Very interesting. So I wonder if there are more variations - and among other brush models. :001_huh:
