W. Greaves & Sons Stubtail in black horn

This one was really rough when I got it. I decided to clean what I could and live with the rest.
The size is 11/16, black horn scales, antique white wedge and stacked washers.

I'm still new to straights and am trying to learn more about judging the age by looking at the blade style. What can you tell me about this blade? BTW, the stacked washers look great!

Very nice. I think horn looks great on older blades.

Old Man Army - my best guess is the blade dates to around 1820-1830.

That would be my guesstimate too.
