What's new

Twenty something girls love traditional scents

I think the concept of newness is at play here. Many younger woman who have not experienced the classic scents in the way that older generations have (i.e. an old man wore them) will find them to be "new" because they have no association for them. All else regarding individual tastes apply if that is the case as even in their hayday these scents had lovers and haters.

In short, what's old is what's new.

Depends on the woman. Many 20-somethings hate traditional scents because they remind them of barbershops. The only time I've ever ben explicitly complimented on my choice of fragrance was when I was wearing Acqua di Gio. My Speick. on the other hand, was called "too European" once.

It also depends a lot on the guy. If a girl is attracted to the way you present and carry yourself, it doesn't matter what fragrance you wear.
