Patiently awaiting my delivery of Personna Med Prep blades, so in the meantime I loaded up the Merkur HD with a fresh feather blade and lo and behold! - got a BBS with no nicks, cuts, and almost no irritation.

Those are nice blades. Too pricey for me, but very high quality. I don't even want to know how much the Med Prep blades cost.

So far Feathers are my favorites, and in the grand scheme of things, even if they are some of the most expensive new blades, it's not really that bad.
$50 buys me a year of using them for 2 shaves pr. blade, I'm fine with that![]()

Love the HD and feather blade. It's my favorite combo.
Since first trying Feathers I've used hardly anything else. They slice through my heavy stubble with no tugging at all. I get 3 good shaves from them and considering I can get 100 of them for £20 or so, I consider that cheap.

"Bruce Willis's ability to maintain a wry smile whilst being blown backwards through a plate glass window is an inspiration to men whose daily challenge consists of nothing more than sitting in front of a computer screen contemplating the message: "There has been an error. Do you wish to report it?". "

The Feathers are nice, but I can get 3 great shaves out of the med preps, and only two out of the Feathers. Of course, now I am primarily SE'ing it.
