I am planning to try using some hydrosols in the near future and was looking for suggestions. I was also wondering if something like Thayer's Lavender astringent would work just as well as say QED Da Vinci Water?

What is a hydrosol?

A hydrosol is a byproduct from the distillation of certain plant matters like rose petals, lavender, orange blossom, etc that supposedly has certain medicinal and moisturizing properties.
I think witch hazel would be classified as a hydrosol?.?.?
