I KNEW I should have taken pictures. That stuff lathered with a boar brush like...well...something! 
It took less time and much less effort to whip up a perfect bowl of lather. I used my Slim Adjustable with a new Derby blade. I set it to 5, and started.
It was a very pleasant shave. Very little scent, but nice and slick. It was slightly dry after my pass, but still a good shave.
It conjured up images of Grandpa shaving in the morning. It's been many years since he passed, but I think of him everyday now, thanks to shaving with a DE.
It's not something I'll use all the time. I think it's something that I will have to put up and save.
