    Default Corn huskers lotion questions

I currently use Trumpers skin food, and an aftershave splash. The skin food has really helped my dry skin ( I have psoriasis ), but it's not cheap stuff. I was told that corn huskers lotion is similar, and much cheaper. Do you use corn huskers lotion? What do you think of it? Where in Canada can I buy some? Thanks!

I have owned and used both. Now I exclusively use the Cornhuskers mixing a dimed sized amount in my hand with whatever AS I choose for that day.

They were just to similar to me to justify the price differences.

I use Cornhuskers as a pre-shave in the shower. But, I think as an AS the smell would be too strong. i add Tea Tree to my Cornhuskers that I use on my hands, but anything you use to cover up the Cornhuskers smell has to in turn be almost overly strong itself. On hands that's fine, but I think it would be too strong as an AS.

Cornhuskers has a light powdery scent which is easliy masked with any other aftershave splash.

Thanks guys! If anyone has spotted corn huskers in Canada, let me know. I have checked online and in stores. Perhaps someone knows how to make it? Is it not glycerine and other fine things?

I disagree. When I put straight cornhuskers on my hands, I notice strong scent for hours, even if there is another scent present.

But, I guess it is a YMMV kind of thing.

I do cornhuskers and a bayrum sometimes , why waste my skinfood(lime scent) when the bayrum will cover the scent

The ingredients lists don't look even close to similar.

I regularly use several concoctions of Corn Huskers with different flavors of aftershaves. I have mixtures using Ivy Club versions of Old Spice and Brut, AV Ice Blue, Trumper's GFT cologne, Osage Rub and SCS Dagger.

I don't find the powdery scent of CHL coming back after using my poor man's skinfood and don't think the scent of the aftershaves/cologne are overpowering. Maybe they are and nobody around me has the nerve to tell me...
