    Default Gillette Red-Tip

    I spotted a red-tip SS at a local antiques store for $9. The razor appeared to be in good condition.
    Two questions:
    Is this a good price?
    How does this razor compare, in terms of aggressiveness and overall shave quality, to the Merkur Classic line?

    $9 for a red tip is a great deal. As for its aggressiveness i say it is less than a Merkur, but that is to my face others here may think differently. I red tip are great shavers, mine gets a lot of use compared to my Merkur HD.
