    Default The Smell

I saw my sister-in-law in my bathroom with her face burried in my hand towel. I asked, "What are you doing?" She said that she just loved the smell. I had not changed out that towel for a couple of days, so I tried to remember all the products I'd used recently. She was smelling a combination of VDH, KMF Mint, original Clubman AS, Topaz, Superior 70, Jeris hair tonic and Clubmam talc. My brother-in-law asked her if she really liked that old fashioned smell. She said, "If you smelled like that you might get lucky more often." He grabed a bottle of bay rum and told me he was taking it.

I don't know, but I think there might be just a wee bit more going on here than meets the computer screen.

You know, I have yet to try any Bay Rum scented... anything. Don't own any cream, soap, or AS of that scent and have no idea what it smells like.

I feel like I'm missing out here!

What would he do for my BayRum? It smells good enough to eat. If he used it for a body splash and he could make a movie.
    It's not the bow(s), it's the Indian!

I'll second that. Bay Rum is the best. It took a short while to grow on me though. I like mild ones like Superior 70 to stronger ones like Clubman.

That's a funny story! Have you tried to assimilate your brother-in-law to the wetshaving borg yet? Sounds like your sister-in-law would appreciate the results and the barber shop smells of a great shave.

AfterHours, if you haven't tried any BayRum yet, you should definitely give some a try! You may find some Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum at Sally's Beauty Supply, if you have any of those stores locally. Happy hunting!

While I do not have those stores, I HAVE seen the Pinaud Bay Rum. I'll pick some up shortly, most definitely.

Yes, one of those threads where there were originally some pictures. But, the
Mods had to swoop in to delete the pictures and keep the posts PG.

Bay Rum and Sandalwood are both scents that I had not even heard of before finding B&B, both are great
Razors don't shave people. People shave people!

There are three critical types of moments in life: Times when we should use opportunity to be enamoured with finer details, and times we should ignore the minutia.

I'm confused by the brother-in-law/sister-in-law dynamic. Is neither of them related to you, or to each other (except, of course, by marriage)?

I think it is the wife's sister and her husband, or wife's brother and his wife (although that might not be true in some states)

Ah, that would make sense. Had not considered that particular context.

Nothing quite like family fun in the bathroom!
