Default Custom made brushes, DE and straight razors

I had the chance to get some really nice wood blanks and made some brush handles and DE handles over the past couple weeks. The brushes are supplied with TGN badger and boar knots. None of the brushes have been used they are just the way they were set. Every brush handle is polished up to 1200 grit sandpaper and with aluminium-oxide hard polishing compound. After that I applied CCL Wood Sealer and finally every handle is protected with 8 coats of hard Carnauba wax and Reneissance wax.
I am asking 60 USD per badger bush, and 60 USD per DE razor (worldwide shipping included). Accept just Pay Pal payment.
These are the vary same knots used by many of the big names in brush making and are really quite nice.

Brush 1: Gabon Ebony handle (aprox. 2.3“ long) with 24 x 50 silvertip knot **SOLD**
Brush 2: Zebrawood handle (aprox. 2.3“ long) with 24 x 50 silvertip knot
Brush 3: Gabon Ebony handle (aprox. 2.3“ long) with 24 x 50 silvertip knot
Brush 4: Olivewood handle (aprox. 2.3“ long) with 24 x 50 silvertip knot
Brush 5: DE razor made from Amboyna Burl wood (handle 3.2“ long, overall 4.2“ long)

Gebr. Emde Solingen Weyer "Bros" Trade Mark #28 4/8 straight razor. The original scales are replaced with custom scales made from Kingwood. The blade is cleaned with no nicks but minor traces of patina are visible. The blade shows minor agenes but still in very good condition and ready for serve many years to come. The blade closes well centered into the scales and has good tension while opening and closing. On the lower and upper part of the tang there are grip serrations. The tang is marked one side with #28 Bros Trade Mark and other side is marked with Gebr. Emde Solingen Weyer. The razor comes shave ready (freshly honed on Coticule) and oil protected. 30 USD with included worldwide shipping. **SOLD**

Alcoso, Solingen 5/8 full hollow straight razor. The scales are original ones in black resin with no nicks and cracks (there are just two minor cracks inside the scales but nothing that can cause malfunction). The blade is cleaned with no nicks, rust or patina and mirror polished. There is no hone wear on the spine. The blade closes well centered into the scales and has good tension while opening and closing. On the lower and upper part of the tang there are grip serrations. The tang is marked with Alcoso, Solingen and AWS logo. The razor comes shave ready (freshly honed on Coticule) and oil protected. 38 USD with included worldwide shipping. **SOLD**

    Very nice craftsmanship!

Suggestion: make a brush handle and razor handle from the same wood, and sell them as a matched set. The pair will be a winner.

I have ready handles from olivewood and zebrawood but heads do not arrive yet, so for now just this one from very nice amboyna burl.

Teo, once again you pulled off some beautiful brushes. I hope someone gets the zebrawood before my SBAD hits hard and I go for a 3rd one from you. I'm very happy you didn't duplicate the ebony you made just for me last month. Btw my ebony" traditional barber" brush is quite hefty, just as you said. Slightly taller than the teak, but exactly what I really wanted. Keep up the good work.

SOMEONE GRAB THE ZEBRAWOOD BEFORE I DO.

I try not to make the same handles (except "chubby" ones) so evry user had opportunity to have "unique" piece.
I see that you are really satisfied with brushes (teak and ebony one). Ebony one (for it's weight) can be some kind of weapon if you need it
I also like heftier handles, that way the weight of the brush is enough to make nice leather.
So, the new word in shaving dictionary KBAD ("King brushes acuisition disorder)

King, these are gorgeous brushes and razors. You do excellent work! I assume you will continue to make more of these and will be contacting you. Probably in a few months when my money situation recovers from recent purchases

    Hi,

What is the head that you use on the razors?

    Thank you in advance.

The head is bought from TGN and it's advertised as Parker closed comb head.

If these are still available, I would love #1 (second choice #3).

I am a noob and just ordered a black acrylic handled Edwin Jagger, hence my choice of the ebony. The grained woods are beautiful, too.

Is this suitable for a beginner? Are there special maintenance instructions I will need to follow?

Please PM me if one of those two is still for sale. Thanks!
