    Default Soap for Sensitive Skin?

Can someone please recommend a soap for sensitive skin? I really wanted to try Tabac, but after reading all about the strong scent, it probably won't be the best thing for my mug. Any ideas?

MWF would be first choice for sensitive skin. Second would be Speick stick. These are the two soaps which have been best for my sensitive skin. I can handle other soaps but these two are the most soothing for me.

    Default Soap and Sensitive Skin

I concur with Mitchel's Wool Fat Soap - good stuff. Also, I have started to use Kiss the Face shaving soap. Very face friendly, mild scent, and convenient to use.

Soaps: Cella, MWF. The best cream for sensitive skin would be KMF.

MWF has lanolin, which many people with sensitive skin have an issue with. If you know that you don't have an issue with it, however, MWF is a great choice.

+1 on Speick....very mild. Or you could look at Van Der Hagen Deluxe or a basic glycerin soap from Mama Bear with no added color or fragrance.

    Default also...

For a great natural cream you should try Maca Root shaving cream from THE BODY SHOP...

It has got a little more *pow* on the scent than MWF and Speick, but it is not a hard soap... If that was what you were looking for??

Pre de Provence seems to get A LOT of good reviews as well - that is a hard soap, and easy on the ingredients!

    Good luck,

Gotta be careful with the Maca root as the scent is quite heavy. It was a little irritating for me. Which is okay because I didn't care for the scent.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I'm specifically looking for a soap, as opposed to a cream. Much appreciated! MWF seems like a popular choice. Can anyone list any glycerin ideas? I'm not too familiar with them.

    Glycerine -> Mama Bear.

She used to have an unscented one.

Rosemary Mint is a classic, very mild.

And there was also a unscented version with Buckthorn oil especially for sensitive skin. Cannot find it on the site though.

I could also recommend Calani soaps, especially the Oriental Plum is very mild.

There is also a 'Purissima' without any additives (hope I translate this correct) but I have no experience with that.

    (The Calani site is here)

Depends what it is that your skin is sensitive to.

Provence Sante Green Tea. Very mild and moisturizing.
