Rusty Swords?

I'm currently waiting on a sampler pack of blades to arrive so that I can try something other than the Merkur Platinum's I currently use. In the mean time, I stopped by the local Walmart (the only place I could find nearby that carries DE blades) and grabbed a pack of Wilkinson Swords -10 for like $1.79. They get decent reviews here, but upon opening the pack, I noticed there are small spots on the blades which appear to be rust. I'm thinking that's not normal and I should probably just return them and wait for the other blades to arrive-I'm hesitant to pop one in and try it. Shouldn't the blades be completely free of any surface imperfection other than maybe a little glue from the wrapper? They've probably been sitting on the shelf at that Walmart for the past ten years! I guess you get what you pay for in this case!

I have never had a problem with them. You should be able to pick up DE blades at any large drugstore too.

I'd return them. Take no chances with a possibly rusty blade nicking your skin!
