    Default Help Me Identify...

Got this razor recently. Not a show peice, due to plate loss on head, but its still shiny, has a nice "ting" to the handle, and a pretty alright shave! Just not sure what it is. It's not a weird mystery piece either, so this shouldn't take long. But please be nice about my limited knowledge!
    Thanks

Yup Fat Handle Tech. One of those in nickel is my daily driver. If yours has the triangular holes in the blade plate then its a pre war model. Nice score!

Everyone should have one of these. They're one of the best shavers Gillette ever made.

Definitely. For functionality and grip, the handle may be one of the best ever made IMO.

I got one too. It's really is a great addition to any DE collection. It's a great mild shaver. There are a lot of people who like to pair this razor with an aggressive blade like a Feather.

Thanks you guys! I was kinda thinking that was it! I did score too, $5. I used it today and it really is a good shave. Nice weight, nice handle feel and grip. I actually bumped my Parker out of the stand for it!

$5 is a pretty good deal. Im actually surprised at how reasonably priced you can get these, considering how great of a shave they offer. Even on the Bay, they are reasonable.

    Good score though!

I think it is due to the fact there are so many of them out there. They do not seem to have the allure of other Gillettes. They really are a great shaver. Great score on that one my friend.
