It looks like a CTS water line fitting. My guess on the description would be a "Plug Valve, Corp Stop, MNPT x G CTS Comp" I do not know the size or the manufacture.

you are correct.
it's a corp stop or corporation valve. it looks cts. maybe 3/4" but i'm not sure.
it taps into the main water line on the threaded end. the other end is a compression fitting for the line that runs into a building.
