    Default Vintage Blades 3" strop

I have decided that straight razors aren't for me so I am selling a gently used (about 5 times) Vintage Blades 3' red latigo hanging strop. The leather is still great, I managed to not nick it at all, and this one has the leather handles, not the D Rings. It cost $60.00 + shipping when I got it a few months ago but $50.00 gets it shipped to your door. Thanks for your interest,

Looks like a nice strop for the price. Somebody looking to get into straight shaving should jump on this.

What is the second component? It looks like nylon or something?

Yeah it feels kinda like nylon, this is what they say about it on their website,"made of a unique fabric webbing that resembles the look and feel of the old vintage strops. Testing done with this material has found it to be superior to traditional cotton and linen fabrics for pre-stropping". Whether it's true or not who knows, I used both strops every time and truthfully I'm not experienced enough with a straight to know if there was a difference.

Nice looking strop! what is the length? Are those screws or snaps so it is easy to replace a component?

I have a strop like that, and I can say one thing for myself for sure: The strop is better than the stropper.
