    Default Speakeasy Acquisitions June 07

I'm trying to force myself to relax.....so I am giving golf a go. I picked up last years hot model driver on the cheap (not that this will improve my game) but I have had good luck with Taylor clubs in the past.

    DJ:
be sure to give the Hybrids a look.
They are a lot of fun to use.
No need for the #1 - 3 irons anymore.
.....and pick up something "legal" to smoke on the course, will ya??

Rick, I'll stick with what I know... HABANOS!!! But I did pick up some hybrids 3-5, so I guess that I'm catching up to the new school guys.

The very palatable Sainsbury's 70cl Grande Champagne cognac (£24.99) has recently been replaced by an older 50cl version (£16.99 and an absolute corker )

After an absence of a couple of months, the 70cl version has risen like a phoenix at £12.49. Swift transfer from shelf to basket

At Tesco, the Glenmorangie Burgundy Wood Finish has been reduced from £27.99 to £20.99. When combined with £9 clubcard vouchers (loyalty), I end up paying £11.99

Rick - that's a great bit of advice. The hybrids are soooo much easier to hit.

I like Plymouth, but I picked up a few bottles of Citadelle for a very good price ($15) on a recommendation, and it's very good.

Jay, the Citadelle is a really nice gin, and at $15.00 quite a nice score.

I enjoy Plymouth and I adore Boodles, but I've never had Citadelle I may have to give it a go one of these days.

Tim, you should also give the Cricket Club a go, it is heavy on the juniper and quite woody. You being a whiskey and scotch guy...you might like the power of the Cricket gin.

I picked up a bottle of Elijah Craig 12. The Reverend invented Bourbon...the least I could do is give it a shot.
