Opinions on blades vary greatly! You'll want to try them all to find your favorite.

My favorite (in my Merkur 34C) on your list would probably be the Astra SP, but honestly I haven't tried very many of your other samples (just the Derbys and Feathers).

You can look in the Review section for some more opinions, or search this forum. I've read some very negative opinions about the modern Gillette Platinum blades in Reviews, for instance.

Good luck, and welcome to the forums!

Experimenting is the best part of shaving in my opinion, dive in and enjoy the ride...

You must try them all yourself. If you get a seemingly bad shave with one brand put the blade to the side and try it once you have your technique down.

Try and keep everything else the same!

+1 and keep a small notebook with notes including, how many days growth, soap/cream used, which razor you used, how many shaves you've used the blade for, etc. I found this very helpful when working my way through my sampler. It can take along time to work your way through it, nice to be able to look back to make comparisons.
