    Default FS: SR 3824 in ebony

    Brush = sold
    Razor = sold
    This was a custom/special order brush by a member here in 2007, he used it 3-4 times and sold it to me. I used it for a while and then gravitated to smaller brushes - it really doesn't have much use on it for a 4 year old brush. I just could never bring myself to sell it since it was my first "real" brush and I knew it was unique in it's color. But it's way too nice to just sit on my shelf like it's been doing for too long.

    There is a small bit of paint missing on the "V & I" in the Savile Row lettering (I tried to make sure the pics reflected this), otherwise the brush is in great shape. I have the original box as well.

    $80 shipped via USPS Priority Mail w/ confirmation

    thanks for looking

    Default FS: Bull Mastiff Deluxe TTO

    One of Bob's great creations, he turned the handle and knob and used a NOS English Slim Twist head. I've realized l really prefer "fatter" handles these days so I'm going to let this beauty go (and then buy a standard Mastiff ).

    The razor is 4.25 inches long and weighs 3.7 ozs.

    $55 shipped via USPS Priority w/ confirmation

    thanks for looking

    Is the bottom knob functional on these razors or more of an aesthetic option?

    Bottom knob is aesthetic, the TTO operates on the ring just below the head.

    sold pending payment

    The bottom knob is aesthetic. The TTO works as normal on a Grip Twist. Adding those bottom knobs makes the razor just unbelievably beautiful.

    Is this the older, high-lofted 3824? Can you take a measurement of loft (obviously knot size is 24mm)?

    I can take a measurement at home - I did once but forgot to write it down & include it here. But since the brush is 4 years old, I'm 99.9% sure it's one of the "older" loft dimensions. I didn't even know Charles had the lofts changed until recently - I'm getting out of the loop these days :)
