    Default New soap storage containers

I have been looking for a storage solution for all my soaps. So my wife suggested LUSH soaps. they sell containers made from recycled pop cans. So I bought 5 for $3.95 each melted my soaps and they look great

I think the plastic tubs at mama bears are less than two bucks. The wooden ones are approx $6-10.

The Lush Tins look to be a more elegant solution vs what I'm using for some of my soaps, like this 10 ounce Anchor Hocking custard dish I grated (using a small vegetable hand grater) Klar soap into

Recently I bought a puck of Ogallala Bay Rum/Sandalwood and used this wide mouth white dish

When not using I store both dishes upside down, so the scents wont evaporate. Cheap and cheerful
FWIW, I bought the Ogalala soap because I have been using their Bay Rum Sandalwood A/S...I find they pair nicely but I'll use their A/S with other shave soaps and shave creams

I use the stainless steel boxes GRUNDTAL from IKEA:

The trick is to print an image of the soap (in this case, Cella or Valobra) and put the printed image inside the transparent lid, facing out.

those are great. i saw you stick them on a magnetic holder too. I use the ziploc glass ones and glue a label on the top similar to how you did it, but the metal cans seem way nicer looking. too badd the nearest ikea is 2.5 hours away

Now that is a gorgeous solution. I have always shied away from the tins because of rust issues. Stainless makes a big difference and the price is superb. Thank you for posting.

Hey, just to keep on track, the tins the OP linked up to are very nice as well. I kind of like the squared shape.

I don't remember saying I didn't like them...don't put words in my mouth

Just throwing out options. Also, some soap don't melt down, and it's easier to drop a round puck into a round container.

I like the Lush tin idea a lot.
It's good to see someone's thinking out of the box...
Inexpensive and a good look... nice.
I might pick one up on my next trip to get bath-bombs for my girl.
    Thanks for the heads-up.
