This Aristocrat Model is believed to provide the Most Aggressive Shaves of all the Aristocrats~![]()
I have four of them, must be time to list them on e-bay. I like the earlier open comb version better.
What's a little loss of blood in the big scheme of things?
It was sold on a Sunday by CFM- that's what's special!
"An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools." Hemingway "The pipe gives the wise man time to think and the fool something to stick in his mouth." C. S. Lewis
The pricy Aristocrats are the OC models from c. 1934. I suppose condition is everything. But Gillette did something very right with that model, TTO and OC together. It wasn't made for commoners, but they made it nonetheless.
I agree with Nick.
Bottom line seems to be that CFM sells his razors at the high prices because of his excellent photographic work. They just look so great. Even though reality may not be quite as glossy.
