Default New B&B Friend 4 Life!

Hey guys, wanted to check in to introduce myself and say thanks! I've been interested in wet shaving for a while now (particularly straight razor shaving) and it wasn't until about 2 weeks ago that I found B&B. After reading a few wiki articles I stumbled across a link to the "Kyle's Prep" article and it has forever changed my life. By just adding a prep step (apply shaving lather in the shower) I have been amazed at the difference!

I'm a manufacturing engineer living in Chicago, IL (Hyde Park), I'm originally from Seattle, WA but my wife's getting her Masters of Divinity degree out here. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!

    Sincerely,
    Joshua Reed

Greetings and welcome Joshua! You're bound to find more than you expected at this forum.

And hope you enjoy Hyde Park -- I spent a number of years there at the U of C. Great neighborhood and some great bookstores. The Seminary Co-op store is fantastic, but they'll be moving this year, so check it out before they move to their new space. You'll find quite a few folks there who could use a good shave.

Joshua, welcome from another Mid-Westerner. Lots to learn here, and we welcome your sharing also.

HA that is certainly the truth. Funny how easy it is to tell philosophy or divinity students apart from the business majors. I love the seminary co-op, my wife gets a lot of her books there. We actually live on south campus (a block from the midway) and I drive by the new CTS building every day. So far it's looking great!
