1. Clauss with worked spine, 11/16"
$140 $120 $100 $90
This one has carbon fiber scales and a brass lined wedge made of copper coloured acetate. It's also got domed brass washers and brass rods. Fantastic looking razor with a worked spine to boot! The only draw back is that I peened it a bit too tight. Hopefully it will loosen up over time. There is no rust nor corrosion on the razor. The blade centers perfectly. It's got upper and lower jimps on the tang.
2. Robeson ShurEdge with worked spine, 11/16" PULLED
$150 $130 $115
Here's another fantastic razor with a worked spine. The original scales in excellent condition and are made of celluloid. You can see the design of the name stamp on the scales. The blade centers perfectly and peens hold it firmely and smoothly. The tang says "Robeson ShurEdge, Rochester,N.Y." and has the number 3509 on it.
3. Boker King Cutter, 5/8"
$60 $50 $45
This has faux ivory scales with pinless wedge. I'm not sure if these are original but it sure looks like it. The scales have minor wear near the back. I'm thinking that the previous owner accidentally sanded this. There is minor pitting on the tang and a small speck of pitting on the backside of the blade near the spine. The name stamp on the tang is deep and clear. After some light buffing the King Cutter stamp has lost its gold colour but is still very clear on the blade. I have not unpinned this razor so there remains a bit of corrosion near the pivot area. I've clean the razor and scales as best I could then honed it up. This should be a great shaver.
