I have a tooth that is sensitive to cold, I thought it was a root prob, pretty much got a conformation. I'll be calling my Dentist on Monday.

sensitivity to termal stimulation,be it hot or cold is indicitive of nerve inflamion. Cold is usually do to a defective filling , enamel fracture or enamel erosion. Nerve involvement is either reversile , correct the underlying cause such as a defective resortation, or irrevesible requiring root canal treatment.
