Which shoes to shine?

I don't have any high-end fancy leather shoes, no AE or Alden or anything like that, which I know need be shined regularly. What I do have is a couple of Ecco leather shoes.

Am I going to take good care of these with some conditioner (I currently use Doc Marten Wonder Balsam and a horse hair brush and they seem to do fine) or should I invest in a shine kit?

I love my eccos, i have about 15 or 20 pair...(i lose count)...I treat them with the same care as my Alden or AE and I have had several pair for years...

I may consider resoling some of them because they are so comfortable...but yes take good care of them and you wil enjoy them even longer...

I'll tell you what, Ecco shoes are some of the most comfortable I've worn. They don't look too bad either. Try them on and you'll probably enjoy.

All leather shoes benefit from good care and polishing is part of that good care.

I regularly polish my work boots. They always look good!
