What's new

Who can guess what kind of razor?

The question is, what's the quality like? Is it as solid as an American slim?

Quality good, and it solid as American slim. I have Gillette slim and can compare their, but I've never had in hands Fatboy. Maybe Fat more solid.
Soviet slim have a little problem, you can't disassemble it all.

I'm going to apologize ahead of time montya because everytime I read one of your posts, I use a Russian accent (in my head of course)
Like the kind you'd find in a '80's movie.

Anyway, I've seen a few Russian razors on ebay.
One exactly like that in a case.
It looks to be well built.

I found picture with case. This is not my pic, I find it in net.

Exactly like an Adjustable Aristocrat case.
The case I saw was orange and not like this one.
This razor made on many different factories, and they had many different names and case. Names like "Consul", "Talgar", "Yubileynaya", "Sfera" and more.

hmmm I wonder what other razors were manufactured in Russia
Many different razors made in USSR, some of them very good.:001_smile

THAT is way cool! Were these authorized or even bulit by Gillette? If not it is an amazing reproduction!
