Animated avatars.

I tried uploading an animated avatar and it said I couldn't do that.


I'm not sure if it's something the mods decided against, or if the VB-powered forums just don't allow for animated avatars.

If it's something that could be switched "on", that'd be cool.

No big deal either way.

I'd just like to know where you find the Avatars to "try" to upload ????

Gary,

Most people will find clever or amusing images while surfing the internet, and use those as avatars, some use pictures of themselves. When you come across an image that you'd like to use as your avatar, right click on the image, and from the drop down box choose the option that says "Save As" or "Save Image As". Then save the image somewhere to your computer (remember where you saved it). Next, while logged in to B&B, click on the "User CP" link towards the upper-left corner of every page. Then on the left side of the page, under the "Control Panel" set of links, choose the link that says "Edit Avatar". From there, click the "Browse" button and locate the image you saved. Then click Save Changes, and voila. If the image is larger than 80x80 pixels, you'll have to resize it first. If you don't know how, PM me and I can take care of it for you.
