Default I Want You! PIF For Active Duty and Veterans

I want to give a little something back to those members who are serving or have served their country. If you are an Active Duty or Veteran member and you want to try straight shaving this is the PIF for you.

    Up for grabs:

5/8 Genco razor (courtesy of saf) fresh off the coti (courtesy of Munxcub)
1 unused puck of VDH Luxory unscented soap
1 unused puck of C&E Sienna soap
1 nicely broken in Omega 13522 boar brush
1 Poor Man Strop kit (courtesy of LarryAndro)

So if you have an Active Duty or Veteran badge and want a chance to win this please post either "I'm serving my country" or "I served my country".
This will run until 11:59 PM CST Saturday April 16th. I'll pick the winner Sunday morning when I get up.

That one is a very nice shaver. Easiest edge I ever put on and it delivered right out of the gate. Glad to have had a chance to help out on this one. Good luck to everyone on this PIF!

Great PIF!!! I would enter, but the idea of shaving with a straight scares me. I have just gotten the hang of shaving with a DE.

I really want to try straights out, but I don't have an active duty badge. I am currently serving in Iraq, though. Actually, I'm home on leave for the birth of my child, but I head back to Balad on Monday morning. At any rate, this is incredibly generous of you.

I have been interested recently in trying a straight. This would be a great starter kit for me. I am in!

I served in the US Navy from 1988 to 1994 aboard the USS Kitty Hawk! EDIT: I have applied for a badge but they haven't given it to me yet.

    Thanks for the opportunity!

I served my country with pride!

A great way to honor vets. I'm loving DE shaving and not sure I want to try a straight. Air Force 1968-1972.

Don't be afraid of the straights. They're no scarier than DE, just takes a little getting used to is all. This is a great opportunity to get into straights, this is a great shaver and the strop is beauty for a beginner.

Would love to try out that Genco, but I know there are some here that could really use this, so count me out. Thank you very much for the thoughts though, they truly are appreciated.

Not sure if this is open to serving Canadian Military members, but if it is I'm in. Active service since 1993 as an Infantry officer with 3 PPCLI. Recent change to military doc (still in residency training). Thanks so much!! Very generous.
