Live Shots of Eagle's Nests

I saw this on the news tonight so I went to the website. There are a total of 9 cameras focused on 5 nests on the southern coast of BC.

The birds at Delta have 2 eggs and one of them has hatched but the 2 pieces of the egg is still together - they are expecting it to emerge today... maybe tomorrow...

I've seen this, but luckily I have a nice eagles nest right down the block, and oddly enough last year one of the nearly 2 foot tall chicks landed right in my yard trying to learn how to fly.




Unfortunately we had to get the raptor center out to care for it as it injured itself in the fall, but it eventually was released last fall.
