Default First DE Shave - I have the answer

So after picking up all my gear today, I couldn't wait for my first shave. But after the entire afternoon and evening waiting in anticipation my nerves hit. This may seem bad, but in fact it gave me the answer to a good first shave.

1 beer per 70lbs. Results may vary.

I had a great time and as I new I was going to do this I didn't shave for 2 weeks while all my gear came in. In reality my lather sucked and I cut myself a few times, but beer has a great way of softening the blow.

Cheers and I will post my next after a bottle of Vodka...

That's some heavy lifting for your first go at things. Looks like you did a great job! I've never had my beard that thick but how far do you think you'd have gotten with a cartridge before that thing would have been clogged and unusable? I'd say about 3 inches.

Beer and sharp instruments. You're braver than I. Congrats on a good shave

    Liquid courage my friend.

I was surprised how easy it was and I only used one side of the blade.

Wow! 2 passes removed all that growth? Impressive!
I only regret that I have but one face to shave for my country...
