Lightbulb NEW Transportation Forum in Everything Else?

    Hello All B&B,

I was thinking that a new Transportation Forum under the Everything Else sub-forum Heading might be worthy of consideration and warranted.

As of now I find random posting on driving, for example, in The Haberdashery forum which seems a bit out of place. Gas price threads now strangely located in The Barber Shop forum would be more appropriate in this proposed forum as well.

This new Transportation Forum would not be limiting in the least. After all, transportation is more than just automobiles and may include (but not be limited to) motorcycles, bicycles, snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, RV's, campers, scooters, trikes, boats, rickshaws etc.

Transportation is another Gentlemanly pursuit and topic that is deserving of serious discussion. Thank you for you time and consideration. What are your thoughts?

What about the "The Great Outdoors!" subforum?

A possibility for sure. However, I do not see the "Transportation" threads consistently appearing in the Great Outdoors forum. Rather, they are spread over several other headings.

I always think about outdoor sports activities like camping, hiking, archery and firearms when I see that heading. And some transportation activities do take place indoors, like kart racing. On another note, almost all wrenching takes place in the garage (with the exception of the shade-tree mechanics).

IMHO, there is room for Transportation and Great Outdoors. Although there will be some small overlap, that is true of many existing sub forums.
