# 77/88 Sets Silver or Nickel?

Anyone know for sure if they are Nickel or Silver plated?

I recently acquired one off the bay and did my normal clean-up process for Nickel razors and it seemed as if the teeth were starting to show some brassing.

I didn't think much about it, until I read somewhere about the #77 set being silver and used a little Wright's Silver Polish and it looks as good as new now.

Can anyone confirm Nickel or Silver?

My 88 is silver.

My 81 is silver too.

Thanks for all the info and replies, I will be trying the baking soda and aluminum foil trick then. She looks pretty good now but I will give it a shot.
