Default Visiting Sacramento, CA this week.

I'm heading to Sacramento for a conference March 30th to April 4th. This will likely be my only visit to Sacramento, so are there any must see or do things? Please keep suggestions to the city itself because I will be relying on public transit and cabs to get around. Bar and restaurant suggestions are also appreciated. I'll be in the downtown core if that helps narrow suggestions.

    -Thanks

My wife works downtown by the Capitol, so here are some suggestions by her, and a couple from me.
Coffee: The chocolate fish on R st. or Temple on S st. Temple is famous for having literally, at one time the highest rated cup of coffee in America. That brew is gone, but the ones they have now are still pretty damn good.
Walk through the capitol and have a cigar on the steps. It is a worthwile endeavor.
Lunch. On S st., Dads. Have the Bad Breath. Trust me on this one.
Further east on H st. you will find cafe Rolle, run by this nut Frenchman. His salmon is incredible.
    Go to the railroad museum.
There is a Morton's for dinner if you are looking to blow a stack of bills. Get to Biba's and you are in for the meal of a lifetime, if you dig Italian. Pricey.
Bars? Old Ironsides is good fun and safe. I've never been in a fight there.
    Gay? Faces.
Like to watch girls kiss each other? The Torch Club.
The streets of London pub is actually pretty cool.
Oh, and in old town, look for the Firehouse resteraunt. Not bad.
    Brent.
    I'm ready to spring...

Everyone's mentioned great places. I will add: Zelda's has awesome pizza and a full bar. For fast food, Jimboy's Tacos are located in most of the areas. It's greasy and yummy fast food tacos, burritos, rice and beans. They have a great salsa bar with various salsas of varying levels of heat. For coffee, Peet's Coffee is good (better than Starbuck's, IMHO). There are theaters with live plays and dramas in downtown.
