    Hey guys

Today I picked up the complete alverde set:
The shaving cream and the balm

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the shaving cream.
The ingredients, the performance and the smell is good,
But the cream does not build lather. In the bowl it remains flat and creamy.
I think it is supposed to be used as no-brush cream.
It only produces minor amounts of lather.
    For the shaving fan unbearable.

The balm works pretty nice though. I think of it as a balm equivalent to the speick as

So this cream with a very liquid appearance and poor lathering properties won't work for me

Indeed, Alverde Man is rather a brushless cream than a regular shaving cream.
Although it is advertised on the tube to use a brush to lather up - forget it it does not produce any lather.
However, the ingredients are 100% natural and as a brushless cream it does work really well.
Generally I would not recommend this cream to any shaver - except you need a brushless cream.
