I just picked up a Pré de Provence soap/AS set and some Institut Karité (wanting to see what all the fuss is about.)

Oh and Paul, I bought mine a couple weeks before the last sale. Was kicking myself for my impulse buy, but a few months later, I can tell this blade is worth every penny.

It was my first straight blade, but yes. The first shave was so-so (what can I say... I had no idea what i was doing.) But with just stropping and a good learning curve, I can confidently say the C135 blades are amazing right out of the box.
