How long have you had it?

I'd try combing out any loose hairs. If it doesn't stop after that, consider contacting the retailer or Vulfix about it.

I've had the brush for about 3 months now or so. Just started this in the last week or so.

Notify the vendor. Keep evidence of hair loss. May need to be replaced if it continues. Also notify Mark at Vulfix. They have great customer service.

For crying out loud. Whats going on with Simpson brushes? This happened to me with my first brush---and I was warned it may happen. (Duke 3)

Should I be happy to pay shipping back to England? Why is this so common?

What gives? Good to know I'm not alone =========although there are many here with life long simpson brush relationships, maybe us newcommers are seeing something different.

    Stop coddling please.

If it keeps on losing hair at this rate, it may mean that something in the knot has gone bad. Usually, hair loss is at the beginning I got my Colonel back in November, and it lost a few hairs here and there for a few weeks. Now there is no hair loss. As suggested, keep track of this and if need be, you can go back to Vulfix/Simpson for help. All posts to date indicate that they have been great about handling customer issues.

You might have a shedder! Just keep track of how many hairs you're losing (save them if possible), and if the problem persists, contact the vendor.

I believe you have already started a thread on this and made your views clear. In fact, your views were made so crystal clear that the thread needed to be closed by the mods.

This is the end of the third week with my Duke 3 in Best and it has lost about thirty plus hairs so far (I stopped counting accurately at 20 but I kept them all).

I will give it two more weeks and if it doesn't stop I will contact the vendor and/or Vulfix about the problem.

Does anyone have the contact details for Vulfix in case I need them?

It's a pity about this because I love the handle and size of the brush but I've had experience with a shedder before (not a Simpson but an EJ which I had replaced).

    Fingers crossed

My brush was losing two to three hairs during each shave for the first two weeks. It has stopped since I read a tip that any water temperature in excess of warm may dislodge natural hairs.
