    Default Micromatic clean up.

I got a pretty rough looking brass Micromatic. I used my Dremel tool with a buffing attachment and it's cleaning up nicely with a great shine. However, I can't get my Dremel under the blade cover. Can the blade cover be removed? If so, I could polish everything. Just curious...

I think you might have to resort to some finer hand tools on that one.

Lots of nooks and crannies for dirt to hide. I even resorted to dental floss. You can pick up small dental brushes too. Polishing will require some imagination.

Try a toothbrush and an abrasive like Bar Keepers Friend. From what I've seen, though, the insides are usually fairly clean.

My MMCP cleaned up pretty well, in the end using Brasso and q-tips. Boy did those q-tips turn black!!

Although not as shiney as I would have liked, my MMCP has a regal looking patina. I prefer it better than the "gold" Gillettes, which to me look too much like trying-too-hard bling.

You may want to try pipe cleaners.
