im always using tony's finest knots but this time not. 18mm two band finest badger knot specially handmade by very famous an english gentleman . Little hint for you...

Are you thinking about redoing the lettering ,I have a couple of restores I'm in the middle of and I'm having trouble figuring a clean way of cleaning up/painting the lettering
Purely from a British point of view, I always find it ironic that you can hardly find a vintage Simpson for love nor money over here. Not saying there common in the US but they pop up a lot more with you guys.
Very nice! I also have a Simpson 88 that I picked up awhile ago and have been looking to restore. I think I'll do one or two practice runs on more mundane brush handles before bringing any sharp cutting instruments next to my little Simpson. Thanks for sharing.
