Nivea Body lotion on strop

Hey guys,

Wonder if anyone has ever used body lotion on a strop. Lotion is to keep our skin moist and not dry. I rub a little bit on my had and then rubbed it in the strop. The colour came back to what it use to and I felt more draw.

Has anyone done this before?

I just use left over tallow lather. I would be concerned about the chemical make up of the lotion but I guess there is only one way to find out.

Well my reasoning was people say the oil from your hand helps to keep the moisture in the strop. Well when hands get dry what do we use. I just tested on little spot and i got the colour back to what it use to be and i feel more draw from it now.
