Great set-up, David!
Josh, you have all the elements for the "perfect shave". The Duke Series is, along with the Chubby Series, my absolute favourite in the Simpsons line. Martin de Candre is simply the finest vegetable soap in the World. And 444 plus the Spanish Floid is a very classic way to finish a great shave. Congrats! And, by the way, lovely pic too!![]()

I still long for the Merkur 39c... however no razor burn today. The balm seems pretty good, but it seems you need to use a lot of it...

What a shave! I had not shaved since Thursday. I face lathered the MdC so that I could really work it into the heavy growth. It felt like a nice massage as the boar worked up a thick, luxurious lather. From there, the huge Friodur wiped the whiskers away like magic. I am so BBS now that I can't imagine what it was like to have all that hair on my face. Great way to start the week!
Good morning!

QCS Vostok Shaving Cream
Floid Suave Aftershave
I can understand why the cream is named Vostok, it is -50 °C (~ -58 °F).
If you like a cooling effect, then Vostok is the cream you are looking for, I have never tried one with such a cooling sensation, brrrr...
(unless you actually live in Vostok, or perhaps Alaska then I wouldn't recommend it, then you are in risk of getting hypothermia)
Have a nice day, Gentlemen
