Kampfe lather catcher with the stock hollow ground blade which I honed and stropped. The blade could use a bit more work there was a bit of pulling but it gave an acceptable shave, nothing to brag about.

I didn't expect much from this unassuming little piece, purchased for a song in a cheap little shaving-goods lot. Even though I was using a fresh blade from the golden age, still I was amazed to find it delivered a fabulous BBS, and super easy too! It's going to be my new travel razor, I think.
It's too late to get a decent picture, so I borrowed one from another forum member's thread after googling (he also reported a fine time with his).
