Schick Krona with a US Personna blade on shave 4. A DFS after two passes and some touch up.
It is just soap, hot water and a sharp blade. It isn't rocket science or a Zen ritual.

Tradere + Super Iridium (4). I could have gotten one more good shave out of this blade, I think, but I wanted to go out on a high note with it. Besides, I have other blades I need to test in this new razor!

Muehle R89 with a Merkur platinum. I actually started with a 7 O'clock yellow that was no longer up to the task--it wasn't cutting worth a on the first (WTG) pass. The new Merkur fixed things up. Second shave with Dr. Dittmar Spezial; an excellent soap, good slickness and unbelievable cushioning.

Old Type + vintage Waltham blade (2)

After last night in the New Improved, a gut feeling told me this blade might do better in the Old Type, and it did. Close DFS in 3, but still not exactly a Hallelujah Chorus. My inner masochist insists I give it a spin in the Slant tomorrow.

Why, you ask? Because I bought too many of these blades and I want to find a razor in which they work well.
